What were we talking about?

Top Search Terms

As trustees and pension funds continue to navigate the investment landscape, liability valuation was close to the top of the list of search terms. Contributing to this is a trending discussion in the forums: analysis of the current crisis engulfing defined benefit pension schemes which includes the mallowstreet communities thoughts following Anthony Hilton’s recent article which questions the way in which defined benefit liabilities are calculated. Events in September

We hosted 7 events throughout September, each looking at a different theme within the UK pensions industry, including University Dinners, two Workshops, a Drive In and a Live Debate.

Reimagining our pension schemes – what does good really look like? On the 15th of September, we brought together pensions scheme members, consultants, trustees, chief investment officers and asset managers and asked the question: “what does good really look like?”

It was a fascinating discussion and the first time we had brought together scheme members and sponsors. The discussion continues here in the mallowstreet forum.
